Effective Call-to-Action Banners

When designing websites it is for a specific purpose. Whether it is to sell a product or service online, or simply to make informtion available, a website is designed to reach a certain goal.

You might have a beautiful website, but if it doesn't guide the visitor to follow a specific path, you will not see a return on your investment.

The call-to-action banner should be designed with a simple purpose in mind. That purpose is to get the visitor to click on the banner and lead them to important information. A call-to-action banner can increase your click-through rate (CTR) on the website.

The call-to-action banner should clearly reflect what the purpose is. There should be a single outcome and the banner should be designed to accomplish that outcome. A call to action can increase your click-through rate (CTR) on the target website. Graphics and font plays a vital role in designing the call-to-action banner and should support the message. Text on buttons should have a strong call-to-action message and should be short but powerful. Words such as " Sign up today" or "Order now" will drive the visitor to perform a specific action.
